CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) will be conducted twice in 2022. This was informed after the meeting by the Consortium of National Law Universities. “The CLAT 2022 will be held on May 8, 2022. The Consortium has resolved that CLAT 2023 will be held on December 18, 2022. Hence in 2022 two CLAT examination will be held in one year”- official press release. Detailed schedule and registration will be released soon in the website. In the meeting chaired by Prof Faizan Mustafa , the consortium has also decided to reduce the counselling fee for unreserved category and also reserved category. For general category, fees was reduced to Rs 30,000 form Rs 50,000. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories, the fees for counselling is Rs 20,000. CLAT is conducted for admission to integrated LLB &LLM courses to various law universities in the country. Around 75,000 students write CLAT every year.
