West Bengal Schools & Colleges to reopen from November 16

Offline classes for schools and colleges in West Bengal will begin from November 16. For schools, only classes 9 -12 will be reopened.  The notice regarding reopening was issued by School Education Department on Thursday. Higher Education Department had asked all the teaching as well as non-teaching staffs to go to colleges and universities from November 1 to make necessary arrangements for reopening. Magistrates of each district are asked to ensure that schools are ready by October 31 for reopening.  VCs of universities and principals of colleges are asked to make buildings prepared by November 1 in connection with the reopening . Schools and colleges were shut since the corona pandemic and it’s after a gap of 20 months that schools and colleges are reopening in the state.
