UG, PG first year classes in Odisha will begin in physical mode from November

For UG students, offline classes will begin from November 1 and for PG students classes will start from November. The classes will reopen following all COVID 19 protocols . The decision regarding reopening was said to VCs of all state universities as well as principals of government and non government colleges by a letter from Principal Secretary Saswat Mishra .”Classroom teaching of first year UG and first year PG students (newly admitted)for 2021-22 session will start from 01.11.2021 and 15.11.2021 respectively in physical mode by following appropriate COVID 19 prevention protocols”- the letter said. Face masks as well as social distancing is mandatory . The letter also mentioned that if any student is found ill, it should be reported and isolation rooms must also be prepared to tackle emergencies. Due corona pandemic, campuses were closed since March 2020.Earlier this month , schools in Odisha have been reopened for offline classes.
