First allotment list released for JoSAA counselling 2021

The first allotment list for admission to engineering colleges in the country have been released by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).Those students who have qualified JEE Advanced are only eligible for the admission to IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs and other such government funded technical educational institutes. Results can be checked at the official website, jossa.nic.in. Students who have been selected in the first allotment list can pay the fees as well as upload documents and accept the allotted seat. Fee payment can be done till October 30. Second allotment list will be published on November 1. Admission process under second list will begin from November 2. Candidates who have passed JEE Main are not eligible to admission to IITs, but they are eligible for all other courses. Six counselling sessions will be held for the admission process.
