Colleges in Maharashtra are preparing to reopen for offline classes
Colleges in Maharashtra will be reopening on October 20 for offline classes. Higher Education Minister Uday Samant announced on Wednesday that Colleges in Maharashtra will start offline classes from October 20, 2021. The minister also announced that students must be fully vaccinated in order to attend offline classes. It has also been decided to reopen hostels in phased manner. The final decision regarding reopening will be taken by university officials after consultation with local corporation and district authorities. If students are not able to attend offline classes, they can attend classes online.” Students should be fully vaccinated before coming to class. If they are not vaccinated colleges can hold camps for the same “- said minister Uday Samant. Minister also added that if some areas have higher number of active COVID 19 cases, then the reopening can be delayed by the local corporation government.
