Colleges and Universities in Pune to reopen from October 11

Deputy CM Ajith Pawar announced that Colleges and Universities in Pune will be reopened on October 11 after this week’s COVID 19 review meeting. Students who are fully vaccinated will only be allowed in the campus . Those who are not fully vaccinated should have to continue their classes online. Strict rules have been imposed for the reopening process. Among the rules, one of them is regarding the negative RT-PCR report that is mandatory for all students who enter the campus for offline classes. Safety protocols such as wearing masks, maintaining social distancing are also mandatory even after reopening . Attendance is not mandatory and teachers are advised to conduct both online and offline teaching methods. Colleges and Universities  in Pune, Pimpri- Chinchwad and even in rules areas can be reopened from October 11.
