Scholarship Program for Diaspora Children: Registrations till November 30
Applications can be made through spdcindia.gov.in.
The online application for SPDC(Scholarship Program for Diaspora Children) is open. Registrations can be made till November 30. NRIs(Non-Resident Indians), PIOs(Persons of Indian Origin), OCIs(Overseas Citizens of India) , and children of Indian workers in ECR(Emigrant Clearance Required) countries residing in 69 selected countries are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is available for only first- year students pursuing their undergraduate courses in India. Applications can be made through the official website, spdcindia.gov.in.
Every year 150 selected students will be given the scholarship benefits. In the 150 scholarships, 50 scholarships are for PIOs/OCIs, 50 for NRIs , and children of Indian workers each in the 17 ECR countries. Scholarships are subjected to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
