More than 2 lakh candidates will appear for the CAT examination this year. CAT 2021 will be conducted by IIM Ahmedabad on November 28, 2021. The examination will be CBT mode, divided into three sections namely, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension & Quantitative Aptitude.
Effective preparation strategies will help candidates to crack the examination. Solving previous year’s questions will help the aspirants to be familiar with the type of questions that appears for the examination. Solving more reading comprehension questions and revising vocabulary notes are beneficial.
Solving mock tests will also help in effective preparation. Concerning data interpretation questions, students should focus on accuracy. Revising the important formulae as well as the shortcut methods will aid in preparation. Revising basic mathematical tables, square , and cube roots are also important.
Studying new topics during the last week before the examination will not be fruitful. It will only lead to confusion.
