Schools to reopen in Odisha for Class 6, 7 on November 15

Attendance is not mandatory for students

Odisha government informed that students of classes 6& 7 will begin their offline classes from November 15. Teaching hours will be from 9.30 am -1.00 pm. Students can attend either online or offline classes and attendance is not compulsory for students. “State Govt haven been pleased to allow reopening of schools in respect of class VI &VII students for the academic year 2021-22 wef 15th Nov 2021”- Official twitter statement of Information &Public Relations Department. It is also informed to follow COVID 19 protocols. Offline classes for UG students in colleges have began from November 1. PG classes will begin from November 15. Since the COVID 19 pandemic schools and colleges in the state have been dismissed. Offline classes for class 10 & 12 began on July 26 and classes for 11& 8 began on October 21 & October 25.
