NLSIU (National Law School of India University), Bengaluru introduced three year LLB programme that is open for graduates belonging to any discipline. The new programme has been launched at the 29th Annual Convocation of the University by NLSIU Vice Chancellor Sudhir Krishnaswamy. “In 1988, the university was launched on the back of an audacious curricular experiment -five year integrated B.A LL.B (Hons) programme. Three decades later , a new interdisciplinary three year LLB embedded in an experimental learning pedagogy is being launched”- VC said in the launch event. Admission to the new programme will start by next year and classes will start by 2022. Detailed guidelines for the programme will be released later. NLSIU offers five year integrated BA.LLB(Hons) as well as one year LLM and other distance education programmes.
