QS Asia Rankings 2022: IIT Bombay , Delhi in Top 50s
IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras have 42, 45, 54 positions respectively
A Total of 118 Indian Universities have bagged positions in 2022 QS World University Rankings Asia . Five IITs , IISc and DU have entered in top 100 ranks. IIT Bombay has 42nd position and IIT Delhi in 45 followed by IIT Madras in 54th position. IISc ( Indian Institute of Science), Bangalore is in 56th position. IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur and University of Delhi are in 60th,64th,77th ranks respectively. Last year IIT Bombay was in 37th position . JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University), BHU (Banaras Hindu University), JMI(Jamia Millia Islamia) have gained entry in top 200. Five Universities from China are in top 10. First Position is grabbed by National University of Singapore whereas Peking University and NTU ( Nanyang Technological University ), Singapore are in 2nd and 3rd positions. QS Asia ranking is based on 11 factors such as academic reputation, faculty/student ratio etc.
