Schools in Kerala to reopen Tomorrow

Schools in Kerala are prepared to welcome students for offline classes . Classes 1 to 7 & Classes 10 and 12 will reopen tomorrow for offline classes . Students of Classes 8, 9 & 11 will begin their offline classes from November 15. Education Minister V Sivankutty informed that schools will reopen in state following strict COVID 19 protocols. 24, 300 thermal scanners have been distributed in schools in connection with safety measures. The slogan introduced by the state education department as a part of reopening is “Thirike Schoolileku “(Back to School). Schools were remaining closed since the pandemic and students are returning to schools after a gap of 20 months.  Schools have been cleaned and disinfected as a part of reopening. The state-level reopening ceremony will be held at  Government Higher Secondary School for Girls, Cotton Hill, Thiruvananthapuram. Colleges in Kerala have  reopened earlier this month.
