Karnataka to host the first NEP Conclave
The first NEP Conclave will be held in Karnataka on November 13
Karnataka government in association with UK based International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC) will conduct the first National Education Policy (NEP) conclave on November 13. The chief guest of the event will be Karnataka Minister of Higher Education and Skill Development Ashwath Narayan CN. “The recently announced National Education Policy 2020 could lead to an orbital shift with its focus on transforming the education sector through investments into various areas of skill development including project-based learning, experiential learning, service-learning and vocational training,” said Executive Director, Strategy and Development, ISDC, Tom M Joseph. He also added that the conclave will be a stepping stone in education and skill development. ISDC works in partnership with more than 200 universities.
