CBSE to release term-1 date sheets of Class 10 & 12 on October 18

The Central Board of  Secondary Education ( CBSE) will release the date sheets of class 10& 12 term 1 examinations on October 18. The exams are scheduled on November – December 2021. The exam will be MCQ type that covers only the first half of the syllabus. Once released, the time table will be available in the official website, cbse.nic.in & cbseacademic.nic.in.  The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.” After the conduct of term-1 exams, the results in the form of marks scored will be declared. No student will be placed in the pass, compartment and essential repeat categories after the first term. The final result will be announced after the first and second term examination.”- Sanyam Bhardwaj, CBSE Examination Controller said. The examination controller also added that practical examinations or internal assessment will be completed before the completion of first term exams. The term-2 examinations are scheduled in March- April, 2022. The pattern of term 2 examinations will be decided depending on COVID 19 situation . CBSE has divided the academic session in two terms this year, conducting exams at the end of each term rather than one board exam at end of the year . Class 10 & 12 sample papers and marking scheme for term 1 exams were released earlier.
