Shri Shikshayatan College was established in the year 1955 and is located in Kolkata, West Bengal. The college is affiliated to the University of Calcutta. Shri Shikshayatan College offers BA, B.Sc., B.Com, B.Ed, BBA and BA JMC courses at UG level.

The basic eligibility criterion to take admission in any of these UG courses requires a 10+2 pass in the relevant subjects from a recognized board. For B.Ed., candidate must have passed MA/M.Sc. or BA (Hons)/ B.Sc. (Hons) with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Selection to UG courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Admission to B.Ed. is done on the basis of Communication Skill Test.
